The European Football Championship has increased the interest of visitors to the Sports category, especially on mobile devices. From mobile phones and tablets, it visited sports websites in June by 5 resp. 4% more users than in May. High daily attendance (approximately 900 thousand to 1.1 million RU on mobile phones and about 80 thousand on tablets) was recorded mainly in the days around the match between the Czechia and the Netherlands (June 27 - 29), which decided the Czech Republic to advance to the quarterfinals. EURO.
The upcoming holidays and holiday periods have been affected by the increase in traffic in the Databases and Catalogs category, which includes, for example, Internet maps and/or timetables. This web category grew the most on tablets (11%) and mobile phones (5%), with a significant increase in the daily number of users in the last days of June, ie at the end of the school year (up to 900 thousand RU per day from mobile phones and 72 thousand from tablets ).
More leisure time for children and young people could have influenced the increase in the number of users of Community and teens' servers and photo galleries. These sites grew mainly on traditional PCs (15%) and mobile phones (30%). The Health category also grew in June, influenced by reports of coronavirus and the emerging delta mutation, vaccinations, and conditions for traveling abroad. The number of users in this category increased mainly in tablets (13%) and mobile phones (3%).
